Recycled Keyboards as a Lounge Chair
This cool looking, eco friendly chair was designed by Dante Bonuccelli for the 2009 UMUL Project (Use More, Use Less). And yes, it is made almost entirely of real, recycled laptop keyboards. I am not sure how comfortable this Text-ile (very original name) chair might be but supposedly it might add a level of comfort to it when the keys depress when sat upon.
I would maybe go step further in design and connect this chair to computer. When you seat on the chair it would print out bunch of characters. Every time you would get original “seat printout”. Just idea! Anyway, the design is pretty slick even without this hack and would look nice in any high-tech office or even better, in your company’s reception area. It would definitely leave impression on your clients.
