Gateway Brings SX and DX Series SFF Desktops

Although school’s out and the last thing on your mind is school project, big computer manufacturers getting ready for the new school year with the latest series of PCs.( Yes, some students actually use computers for studying and not just for playing games.) Gateway is prepared to take its share of big back-to-school market with introduction of its SX and DX Series SFF Desktops. Both series are designed with value in mind and are accompanied by a Gateway FHD monitor. Because of small footprint they should nicely fit in cramped dorm rooms. Still, applying smart design, these cool looking PCs are packed with all features and power you need( and wish) for everyday tasks.. and, of course, for speed and memory hungry latest games.

The small form factor SX Series comes with an Intel Core 2 Quad 8200 (2.33GHz) processor, 4GB of RAM, integrated Intel graphics, an HDMI port and a 640GB hard drive. Solid machine for the price tag of $499.99.
If you are power junky then you might consider DX Series with the choice of an AMD or Intel CPU, large HDDs, copious amounts of memory and a solid amount of expansion bays / slots. This unit starts at $749.99 and comes with a 2.4GHz AMD Phenom X4 9750 CPU, ATI Radeon HD 4650 graphics (1GB), 8GB of DDR2 RAM, a 1TB hard drive, 18x DVD writer and eight USB 2.0 ports.
