Probably the first thing you would associate speed radar with is police and the day when you wished you stayed home instead speeding down the street. Why should only caps play with radar guns and have fun issuing hefty speeding tickets? Although, with this new gadget called the Pocket Radar you won’t benefit financially, it promises a lot of fun down the road. Keep it in your pocket and use it whenever you want to clock the speed of something.

Pocket Radar can be used to get the speed of any object( not just cars) which leaves open door for your imagination. Maybe you want to track the speed of a baseball thrown by one of your buddies or, maximum speed that crazy guy on inner tube reached before hitting the snow bank. Anyway, I’m sure you’ll come up with all kinds of things to use the pocket radar on. On the tech side, it features accuracy to one mile per hour and battery( runs off three AAA) life of 10,000 measurements per set.

Pocket Radar will be showcased at CES this coming January and will be available on the market in the Spring of 2010.
